Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Although only a class of 8, my students skills vary tremendously. All of our lessons require differentiated and adapted materials, which I can find on Teachers Pay Teachers, so that the students can be successful. My students become frustrated easily with academic work, however, when the work is adapted to meet them at their level, they are able to remain focused. Once they are focused, they have the ability to learn so much. These students are kind, caring, and curious little humans who deserve the opportunity to demonstrate what they can do when given the tools to do so.
