This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Bilingual First Grade to 25 amazing, challenging, intelligent, deserving students in a Title I school. My students come from low-income home and most of them receive free breakfast and lunch. Our school is a stable, supportive, house of learning in what can be an often unstable neighborhood.

I believe each child has limitless potential and deserves the world.

Our school community truly comes together to support the development of the whole child. Our curriculum is rigorous and the students are up to the challenge. The pride they take in their successes is amazing to see.

My Project

Seat sacks will allow my students to have the materials ready and at hand at all times. Having a seat sack will ensure my students to quickly locate their materials without having to get out of their seats therefore allowing them to be more organized and focused on the task at hand.

I would like all my students to have the everyday use materials at their fingertips to maximize their learning experience and keep the lesson flowing smoothly.

As I set up my room for next year, I want to ensure that my students feel privileged, provided for, and organized.
