My students are excited and full of life as well as energy. They love school and are very social when it comes to learning. My kids are always thrilled when they are working in groups and using hands-on manipulatives. They also enjoy group reading projects as well.
We are a Title I school.
All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Several of my kids receive a backpack with food in it for the weekend. Some of my students are being raised in single parent homes or by grandparents. This can make learning a bit difficult at times, which is why I am determined to give them the best start I possibly can.
My Project
My students love to play reading, math, and phonics games on our computers in our classroom. However, our school recently updated all of our computers and they no longer play CD-Roms. This is a huge issue for my kids, we have a lot of games that teach them to read, spell and do mathematics. This laptop will help my students to use their computer games and increase phonics, reading, math and many more skills. Also we we will be able to increase typing as well as our technology skills. My students love to do research on the computers this laptop will give us one additional computer to use for that, we currently have 2 computers in our classroom.
