My students are driven to achieve their best. They are students with special needs in the specific learning disability category, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD, but their "special needs" are what make them some of the greatest students around. They inspire one another and often use their setbacks for achieving their goals. Furthermore, my students let nothing hold them from achieving their absolute best and working to their absolute full potential. With that said, we need several additions to our classroom to help provide them with a successful and the most comfortable learning environment to help meet their academic needs.
My students are driven through motivation and success, and with the proper materials, I have no doubt that they will put forth their best efforts for wonderful academic achievement!
My Project
The materials requested for this project are meant to increase student motivation in the classroom. The students work everyday to earn rewards, and although they work hard, some days are struggle to get going. Having a treasure reward chest filled with the fun items I am requesting for my students, will encourage the students to put forth their best effort to earn these rewards!
Incorporating classroom timers as a visual representation are going to be a start to implementing motivational learning, helping us stay on task and complete our daily activities with efficiency.
Students also need pencils, cool pens, and fun highlighters to use when we are reading, writing, and completing our math work. Often, using fun writing utensils motivates students to participate and complete work!
