My Students

My students come from hard-working families. They are low-income. Our school is located in a small, friendly, little town. Our town and my student's families come from blue-collar roots. My students understand that with hard work, perseverance, and respect, you will get results.

Chinese, Laotian, African American, Filipino, Italian, Scandinavian, my students come from many different backgrounds.

They all have at least one thing in common, their families have instilled the importance of school. School is not just for academics. School teaches you how to be a good person.

My Project

These masks will make a difference in our students' learning because they will better protect them from contracting or spreading Covid 19. Healthier, safer students will perform better in their academics and prevent absences which can affect their A-G requirements for graduation.

N95 masks have been proven to reduce the spread of Covid19.

N95 masks are pricey and can be hard to find in brick-and-mortar stores. Currently, most of our students are wearing surgical masks, which don't work as well. These N95 masks will give us "peace of mind".
