My Students

A strong community filled with eager learners makes for an amazing music classroom! My students are looking to diversity their music opportunities through after school ensembles and by adding more instruments to our collection.

We want to take our piano and ukulele playing crew to the next level by supporting them with a fuller collection of instruments and practical tools for a performance based music education.

My Project

We're looking to upgrade to the most versatile, storable and durable music stands on the market. Manhasset stands are a staple in music classrooms and will help our students in ease of setup. Additionally, they are designed for easy storage - which is a MUST in our economically sized music room!

Currently, we are grateful to have 20 music stands, but the number of levers and sliding pieces make them a danger hazard to small hands.

Most of our students have a hard time figuring out how to set them up, which has led to broken pieces and damaged hinges.

Manhasset music stands are widely popular and feature solid brass bearings and clutches; the original Magic Finger Clutch; a rugged yet lightweight all-aluminum desk; automatic friction-tilt neck; and a heavy-gauge, all-steel base. The choice of orchestra halls and band rooms everywhere, it has become the standard of the industry.
