Help me give my students eight sets of number bonds and ten-frame whiteboards to help them memorize fact families and solve math problems, as well as three regrouping games to help them with three-digit addition and subtraction.
My students come from diverse backgrounds that don't always have the essential needs during school. We strive to make this a fun learning environment for our students.
My students deserve the best I can do for them!
They are eager to learn, to enjoy school. We come from a Title I school in a very low socioeconomic area yet they come to school with smiles and are excited to be here. Most students lack the funds to purchase essential classroom supplies.
We are looking forward to a year full of learning and fun-filled experiences.
My Project
Studies show that students learn when they become responsible for their own learning. Think about the students who can use these math manipulatives to grasp a math concept or to problem solve, then use them to explain the concept to a friend! These math manipulatives will provide not only the foundation to many math concepts but will allow students to explore and expand their knowledge for higher order of thinking!
