Help me give my students supplies for two awesome projects! In one of my classes, we are going to work in teams to create a Mars Colony. In my science classes, we have an awesome volcano project!
Throughout the day, I see 150 very different individuals, all trying to figure out where they fit in.
My middle school science and success students are a diverse group, coming from various cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and with various levels of learning comprehension.
A large part of each of my classes include students with various emotional, physical, mental, and medical challenges.
Many of my students are trying to learn how to manage all the changes to themselves, balance home and school, all while learning their role in society.
My Project
Hello Donors! We are doing some incredible things in class to get the student better at understanding science concepts as well as teamwork and research skills.
Students will be completing two awesome projects-creating a Mars Colony and a project around Volcano formation.
Both projects will require some research and understanding as well as a lot of supplies. All of these supplies will go to support these two projects!
I am so excited to have students research ways we could colonize another planet. This will make them stretch their thinking and reasoning skills, get them working together, and get them creating!
The volcano project is a NASA idea and incorporates fun eruptions with building up the volcano after each eruption to see how they really form over many years.
