As teachers in a public school, we are forced to make what we have work for our students. Our classroom is special because we are a inclusion kindergarten classroom. An inclusive classroom is a general education classroom in which students with and without disabilities learn together!
Our classroom is special because each student is unique.
This allows students from different backgrounds to come together to collaborate and share their bright ideas! Everyday my students come into my classroom eager to learn and share their ideas with their friends. We follow our school’s mission, preparing our students for today and tomorrow by providing strong academic and emotional foundations.
My Project
My students are learners that love to move around and explore different learning opportunities. Having a flexible picnic table in the classroom would be perfect for collaborative conversations, working together and finding a perfect spot for learning. I love this table because it can also fold up and be stored away if we need carpet space. The floor stars with numbers will be used for the students to line up and recognize numbers on the go. Lining up is a huge part of kindergarten, we use lining up to go to recess, lunch, and be dismissed from the classroom.
My students love writing with dry erase markers, we go through these markers very fast.
Having a fresh new pack would make them excited to use the markers without having to worry about ink running low.
