Help me give my students engaging tools to "Mark the Text" and decode historical, primary and secondary sources! The color highlighters and dry erase markers will be used by students to annotate documents and identify claims and evidence.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our class uses primary and secondary historical sources, including documents, political cartoons, passages and excerpts to understand and analyze World History.

These tools will allow students to "Mark the Text" when they are actively reading a document, in a colorful and meaningful way.

The highlighters, dry erase markers and color pencils will allow students to analyze primary and secondary sources in a variety of ways. They will be able to use the sheet protectors to make notations on the actual document, highlight critical information and document their findings on the mini flip charts.
