I work in a small rural school with 100% free lunch. My students come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences.
I want to be able to provide my students with supplies and opportunities to help them grow and develop into competent learners.
My students have several deficits in reading and language. I want to help my students bring their abilities up to grade level with engaging and enriching activities.
My students love hands- on activities and group activities. They are the leaders of tomorrow!
My Project
My students do a lot of project based learning. They need crayons and markers to complete their tasks. They work together in groups to create posters and projects in Science and Social Studies!!
My students need markers to make their projects pop!
They need crayons to get creative and color their graphics. In math, we make graphs and the students do surveys. They graph their results- their presentations will POP with the choice of colors and materials. In writing, we create stories and write books. My students need crayons to make inviting pictures and to illustrate their stories. My students really need to "Mark it Up"!!!
