We serve a diverse group of brilliant students in a rapidly changing San Francisco district. Our students commute from various parts of the San Francisco Bay Area and it is their resilience that gets them to us each and every day. They embody the spirit of warriors who are committed to educational attainment and financial and spiritual sustainability for themselves and their communities.
Our students are unique because they choose to be a part of our unique Leadership community.
My classroom is a special and important place for students to engage in socio-emotional learning, to access their best selves.
My Project
Imagine learning in an environment with cords dangling, papers spread throughout and very little space to make sense of your internalized content. It wouldn't be a great learning space, would it? We are asking for the supplies necessary to help our young people to become more organized and neat so that they may tend to what matters most: their education. The supplies we have requested will create a more joyous space for students and teachers to learn together. It will allow for more space and opportunities for students to engage more readily.
