Marching Snare Drums for Our Shows!

My students need a light weight snare drum to march in the parades. The ones we have now are old, heavy, and hurts the back of the kids trying to carry them while marching.

My Students

Our students are artsy! When they come to music class all they want to do is perform! Performing is great but learning the music theory behind it is so important. That’s why I am putting this Donors Choose Project together to fund resources for our marching band.

You see… we have a marching band at school.

As a matter of fact, we are the only school in our district that performs the many parades in Boston. We march in First Night Boston, St. Patrick's Day Parade, Memorial Day Parade, and Haitian Flag Day Parade.

Our students are the type who seek pride and joy in learning when given high quality resource opportunities. They deserve the best quality instruments that will further support their achievements!

My Project

We need new marching snare drums for our students in parades and show routines. The ones we have now are old and heavy. This new drum set up also allows out students to take home a drum thats completes with a practice pad, sticks, stand, sling, and bag for transport. Easily carried on the back like a book bag!

These drums are age appropriate for elementary students.

Our band marches in 5+ local parades annually. Our School is recognized for the band and often receive requests to perform for events and programs on Boston.
