My students are hard working and have come a long way in the growth of our marching program. The marching program started up six years ago with very little. We didn't have uniforms, we had few marching instruments, and few students. As the program started that first year we had only 20 students, and this next marching season we will be marching 95 members.
Each year, the students make huge strides forward and prove how much they want to succeed.
Over the years our school corporation has been great at providing us with things we need as well as students doing many fundraisers. With the growth of the program many needs come up and this year we are tackling the needs of a sound system.
My Project
We have two keyboard controllers that are used for various things throughout the school year, but the biggest is during marching season. With a growing program over the past six years, the students have done a lot of fundraising to be able to purchase various items. This year, we were finally able to purchase a sound system with the two keyboard controllers. Each keyboard controller needs a MacBook Air to function.
The MacBook Air powers the keyboard controller and the software needed for the sound effects.
These controllers will not work without a computer because they pull their power and information from the computer. The computer will then be connected to our sound system.
