I am a third-grade teacher in Camden, New Jersey. My students are exuberant about learning and are excited to read many books this year. My students are eager and enthusiastic learners who love using hands-on materials and technology to learn.
My students have a deep passion for reading and literacy whether it is independent, in groups, or as a full class.
I want to give them every opportunity to read, listen, and explore the books that they need and want.
My Project
These materials would make a difference in my students' learning by giving them the opportunity to create and explore using marbles and integrating STEM into their learning.
These materials would be used in the classroom during indoor recess time.
These indoor activities would be used as small group or individual depending.
These marbles would be helpful to each student as a chance to integrate other academic subjects such as science, technology, engineering their own creation and using math concepts to configure their pieces together.
Please help give my students the opportunity to create their own marble creations while integrating STEM into their learning.
