My students are creative, curious, playful, and enthusiastic learners. They benefit greatly from being actively engaged in their learning through developmentally appropriate activities. They are currently studying weather, health, communities, and fair play. We have just celebrated the 100th day of school which included many activities around math, writing, and reading. Themes for the future include life science: the study of animals, habitats, and respect and appreciation for all living things. They are particularly excited about feeding and caring for the new school chickens.
My Project
Each student's learning experience will be diversified with these learning materials, providing them with enriching opportunities across all subject areas. These educational items will help augment the classroom choices. This will be a kaleidoscope of ideas to stimulate the environment. From fairy house to fortress, the children will create their own spectacular spinning show, and will create large and incredible geometric vibrant contraptions and design weight-bearing buildings. Also, these tools will accelerate the students' fine and gross motor skill development. These materials will empower the children to direct their learning experiences. With just a little boost to the classroom, the future is within their grasp.
