My students need hands-on materials like a letter activity center, magnetic shapes, numbers and counting light-up center to stimulate their social skills and brain development.
I have seven mult-handicapped students;whereas, some are non verbal and profoundly delayed with physical disabled. They are very affectionate and loving. They will often assist other students in the classroom. Like they will hold doors open for their peers in a wheelchair or carry their lunch trays for them. I am very proud of them. They also like to do classroom activities especially if they are interested in the task they are doing such as using visually or adapted devices.
My Project
These materials I am requesting will be used to assist students who very profoundly disabled, both physically and mentally, to enchanced and enriched their educational environment.
Several of the materials I am requesting will be used to teach them academics skills such as the write the letters activity center or the numbers and counting light up center.
Also I am requesting the Float and Find Alphabet Bubbles.
These materials and others I am requesting will help my special needs student to develop social skills, learn to communicate more efficiently and to develop their fine motor skills.
