Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have some amazing students walking through my door every day. They are kind, respectful, and eager to learn. They come to school with a positive attitude and are ready for a great day. My students enjoy being with each other, helping out one another.
I strive to have a safe and nurturing environment so that my students feel welcome.
I want to give them every tool possible to help support their learning and become successful citizens. We appreciate all of your support.
My Project
Having many different types of manipulatives in the classroom is key to my students' learning. Manipulatives provide effective and engaging lessons that support math and reading. Math manipulatives are great in helping students understand math processes and procedures. These donated items will give my students the opportunities for hands-on interaction which will help to develop their oral language as well as problem solving skills.
Not only is using manipulatives fun and motivational, but It will give my students the chance to be creative and think outside the box while learning their necessary academic skills.
Other items will be used to help make our classroom run smoothly. We thank you for your support!
