This school year I am excited to teach my lovely fourth graders. I hope they're as excited to learn from me too! I love how eager my students can get to learn and give their opinion on the topics we learn in class. Children who have an open line of communication with their peers and teachers tend to do better socially. Sometimes they can find themselves sharing too much of their opinion and viewpoints, but that's the part of kids we always find endearing.
This school year I would love to introduce you to Miami's finest bunch of little ones.
They are creative, persistent learners and future leaders in big and small ways. Their creativity stems from pushing themselves to rise above their status as low students and make imagination and hope the forefront of their learning. These fourth graders will repeatedly try new strategies they are taught and will definitely find their perseverance leads to success. This success can be in answering today's Higher Order Thinking question right the first time or getting recognized for doing the right thing by the mayor.
All in all, I can't wait to see how much they can improve with my help.
These materials will help with math intervention and keep my students focused during the lesson.
The punch cards are a great tool for good behavior and providing a short term goal for students.
Though they can receive other positive reinforcements in my class students who keep their card and plan to make wise and smart choices learn responsibility and delayed satisfaction. The hall passes ensure that my students will be recognized in the hallway and less likely to waste time when outside. The double sided geo-boards are a great tool for teaching many of the topics in geometry in class.
