My students need a place to create using their imaginations as well as a place to practice independently on skills learned through small groups. The magnetic board and light box manipulatives will provide the perfect opportunity!
Our school is comprised of K-5th grade students. We are a low income school that works hard to engage the students, parents, and community.
We are going back to the basics!
Allowing our Kindergarten students to truly learn through play and conversation while still providing them with a solid foundation. For most of these sweet boys and girls, this is their first interaction with school. We strive each day to teach not only the skills needed to face the next grade, but also the social and emotional skills that they will need to interact with others.
My Project
We have revamped Kindergarten to the way it should be. Through meaningful play, conversation and hands on learning our students are beginning to soar!
We need your help to add to the centers that we have incorporated so that they have more opportunities to learn through discovery!
Multiple students can use the magnetic board at the same time, manipulating shapes to spark creativity or letters to promote reading and fluency. The light table manipulative kit will be the perfect addition to our light box, allowing the students to work on multiple skills in one setting. Thank you for making a difference!
