My Students

My students are enthusiastic, curious, critical thinkers. I have a wide range of students including some who are four years ahead in reading and some who are three years behind in reading. Their needs are very different. They love to learn.

At our school, forty percent of the students receive free or reduced-price lunch, but all of our students are eager to meet the challenges of a rigorous and engaging curriculum.

Many students rely the generosity of donors to provide our classroom with essential tools that we need.

My Project

I want to help make difficult math concepts a lot easier to understand, and a math center is just the way to do that! These math manipulative sets can be used for independent practice, in small groups, or for whole-class learning.

These three teaching kits can be easily integrated into my math curriculum and will allow me to create math centers where students can learn at their own paces.

Math can be difficult for many students, and I want to use a variety of ways to teach so that each student can understand and learn every concept and feel confident movng forward.
