This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love giving me titles of books they want to read. We use an app called Whoos Reading to help them track their minutes and take quizzes to check for understanding.

Manga books are all the rage!

I cannot keep them on my book shelves! I love that they come in each day, excited for silent reading! I want to give them the books they are clamoring to read, and they will stay on my shelves for future groups of 8th grade students! I am excited that THEY are excited!
