My students walk into our classroom every day full of life. They are ready to learn and excited for what the day has in store for them. I want my students to know and believe that they can do anything.
I teach at a Title I school in Tennessee where all of our students receive free breakfast and a large percentage of them receive free lunch.
I want my students to have the tools to help them be successful in our classroom.
My Project
This year, I began using a new math curriculum. There are 15 units in the curriculum. Each unit includes games, manipulatives, texts, and worksheets. As I progressed through the year with this new curriculum, I was overwhelmed with games and texts and manipulatives that I had nowhere to store. All of the materials for each unit are spread around my classroom in the spaces that I could find. Quite frankly, it is a mess!
I am asking for 15 plastic storage bins to keep our math curriculum sorted and easily accessible to my students and myself.
I will be able to find each unit and it's supplies in one place. Students will be able find what they need quickly, which will allow them to get to work quickly. Everything in its place will help all of us!
