Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach K-8 at a charter school in Bonita Springs. Here, I work with children within our Exceptional Student Education Department and also as the Aftercare Director. These students are some of the kindest and most amazing children you would ever meet! Each child has different needs, whether it is focusing, sensory, or assistance.
I want to be able to give them some extra tools for success.
The students at our school deserve this, and I want to be able to be the one to give it to them, but I need your help! About 75% of our students receive free or reduced-fee lunches due to the financial situations they have at home.
My Project
At Aftercare, we do many enrichment tasks that enhance the experience with exciting educational tasks. With National Technology Day, I would love to show my aftercare students the beauty of technology and research with TIME Magazine. TIME Magazine subscriptions would give my students the ability to do research safely and explore all the amazing resources it has to offer us!
So many of our aftercare students want to explore and learn more, and TIME Magazine subscriptions would help us do just that!
The subscription would help the students not only in school, but to develop their interests for the future!
