Learning about the Periodic Table in chemistry class can be extremely dull and boring. Many times, students can only think of the table as a piece of paper. However, if given the tools, students can become engaged learners as they examine samples of the elements first hand!
These supplies will provide ways for my students to interact with the elements and the Periodic Table in a tangible way.
The Periodic Table game will add some competition and an interactive way to explore the tool. The acrylic table will intrigue students by showing them what the elements actually look like, and the cubes will give some perspective of the physical properties. Anything students can hold will help them understand at a deeper level!
