Making the Invisible, Visible!

My students need these hands-on models and giant visual aids to assist them in the understanding of concepts that are difficult for middle schoolers to grasp, because they are unseen!

My Students

Our county is a completely rural county, with the majority of our families coming from an agricultural background. At our school, a high percentage of our children come from low-income families but that doesn't deter their spirit and their desire to learn new and interesting concepts.

Their minds are open, their aspiration for greatness growing and their educational abilities are ripe for developing.

In short, our students are simply amazing, despite financial situations that may prevent them from experiencing the world.

My Project

Newton's Laws of Motion are a tough thing for students of any age to get their minds wrapped around. When you put exciting projects in their hands, these Laws become tangible and fun to learn about. These kits will be used for just this and will create a classroom of actively engaged students.

What can't be seen with the naked eye will be brought to life with these visual aids!

The giant models of the cells and the cross-sections of the Earth's structure will bring to life the building blocks of life for our students. These manipulatives will be incredibly useful in developing mastery in the subjects of life and earth science.
