My Students

I work at a large elementary school in Southwestern Connecticut. My students come from very diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. Many of the students in my class receive free or reduced lunch and attend before and after school care programs.

My students come to learn and do great things!

Each student in my class is an individual and celebrated as such. We believe that a solid learning community depends on solid social community and we practice a positive behavior model that promotes positive learning experiences.

My Project

We use Chromebooks for all areas of learning and testing. Students are sometimes using older Chromebooks that have broken trackpads. The headphones that were provided are very poorly made and most of ours have broken.

For our students to succeed, we need to make technology as easy to use as possible.

These headphones and mice will allow our students to scroll and click easily while giving them a quiet environment in which to perform.

The wireless mouse and keyboard allow me as the teacher to use the Smartboard without walking all the way across the room to use the computer.
