Help me give my students headphones and mice to use with their 1 to 1 technology, to help make using Chromebooks in 2nd grade easier! Floor spots would be nice for showing them where they can work.
Second grade is an important year! Students are still excited about learning and their experiences this year will shape how they feel about learning in the future. I am asking for help purchasing headphones and mice so that the students are able to make better use of our now 1 to 1 technology! As a third-year teacher, I hope to inspire my students to be life long learners.
I want the students to know how much I love and care about each and every one of them, by making sure that each one has the tools they need to be successful when using technology.
I have a wide range of behaviors including students on the autism spectrum, students with ADD/ADHD, and students with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD). I want to be able to cater to all of my students and make sure that they have their basic needs met so that they can focus on learning.
My Project
I would love to have a pair of headphones for every student. This would promote student accountability and responsibility for taking care of their materials.
Second grade is hard I want to make using technology easier for them by giving them the tools they need to be successful!
I love to give students the ability to move around the room while working in groups. Floor spots would allow for that to happen but also give them some guidelines and mark the appropriate places. If I could have enough headphones for my whole class and mice available to those who need the extra help, our small group instruction would be more effective.
