Help me give my students supplemental resources to work on during this pandemic.

My Students

My school is a Title I school and all our students receive free lunch. My kindergarteners are delightful students who love to learn. My students who are still too little to understand what is fully happening in our world. They and their families are in a constant state of uncertainty.

As we have been thrust into this of uncertainty that is the coronavirus pandemic, it has become even more obvious the disparity between the socioeconomic groups especially in area of distance learning.

As distance learning has become a necessity the majority of my students have had to borrow devices from the school with some sharing with their siblings. Others try to complete assignments or watch Zoom lessons on their parent's mobile phones when they can. I have limited resources myself to fully present my students lessons and presentations in such a way that are dynamic and technologically current. I also would like to provide my students with additional resources that my students can use when technological devices are not available to them.

My Project

These materials will be very essential in helping my students receive supplemental resources during this time of Distance Learning. The ink and paper will help me in printing out supplemental resources for my kindergarten students. In implementing the grade level curriculum to my students there are some components and reteaching that can be provided through the use of supplemental material. Whether that be through printing out flash cards, writing journals or reteaching workbooks. The request for stamps is so that I may mail my students postcards from time to time.

Distance Learning can have many components: the online teaching, the use of apps for independent learning, hands-on workbook assignments and the writing component.

With the materials requested I can print out and mail my students these additional resources such writing journals, flashcards and mini workbooks.
