I have a classroom of 20 students. My students are very diverse. A very high percentage of children in my school are from low-income families. This percentage is above 60%. My students have different hardships, but they do their best to succeed. While at school I try to create an engaging, fun, loving, and caring environment where students can learn through hands-on activities. My students also love learning the content taught by creating crafts. Allowing students to create different things to help them learn allows them to learn in a non-traditional way.
Students come to school always willing to do their best to succeed, and they love to discover the world around them.
I have wonderful students who are eager to learn and work hard. My students also learn with fun and engaging activities in every subject. I am proud of the determination and drive that my students show each day when they come into school.
I am asking for a variety of art supplies for my classroom. This year my class is made up of a bunch of visual learners. When creating art projects that relate to our 3rd grade standards my students grasped what they needed to learn. This is because when creating art it is hands-on, and they apply what they know to the task at hand. Students love to see what they are learning come to life.
My students come to school each day wanting to learn, but my students need these art supplies to make learning visual and fun.
The students this year will use the construction paper when creating multiplication Christmas trees, poetry snowflakes, brochures for an animal habitat, symmetrical Easter eggs, and more! The googly eyes will add a special touch to our creations. Paint will be used for posters created by students to use during presentations. With your help, I can make my classroom a space where students can work to create different things to help enhance learning.
