My students are a diverse group of kids who love to learn.
They come from a variety of socioeconomic statutes and all bring and contribute different experiences to our classroom. Everyday they come in excited to be at school, ready to learn, and ready to work together be a part of our team.
My students' favorite things to do is collaborate together. I am amazed daily by their willingness to help each other. Not only are they willing to help each other, but they encourage and motivate each other to keep growing and learning.
My Project
With this project my students will get the opportunity to grow as readers using vocabulary tools and also different strategies to help them focus. My students love to learn, but also have a ton of energy so my hope is to give them opportunities to have flexible seating options while also using new tools to enhance reading.
The students in my class come will be introduced to a variety of different vocabulary with this new resource.
I hope that by using these word a day my students will expand their vocabulary which will help them with their reading skills. Reading is the foundation for so many other subjects and I want my students to excel at this. I hope that by using this vocabulary program and offering more comfortable seating my students will excel.
