My students need connect and store books bins, floor cushions and paper containers to keep themselves organized and comfortable during reading workshop.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Our community is high crime, high poverty and the classroom is often the safest, calmest environment that our students have. Our students are provided with all of the basic necessities such as breakfast in the classroom, dental check ups, as well as a daily positive learning environment. While we try to supply everything they need to learn, it is often the bonus items that we go without.
We need new book boxes for our reading workshop books.
These boxes will allow my students to have all of their independent reading books in one place. They will also make it easier for them to carry around the room during reading time.
My Project
These connect and store book bins and soft seat cushions will allow my students to work comfortably during readers workshop. My students are in the classroom for almost 8 hours a day. I love to allow them to move freely around the room during workshop. These materials will make it more manageable for them to keep themselves organized during workshop.
These book bins and seats will allow my students the ability to stay organized and comfy during readers workshop.
The students will be able to keep all of their book choices in one place for easy access. The seat cushions will allow students to sit anywhere in the room and be comfy. Who doesn't love being comfortable when reading!
