My Students
I teach at a school that is Title I and seventy percent of the students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. This project will benefit so many students. We have some really great and eager kids at our school who want to immerse in learning.
Students learn best with activities they enjoy.
I want to bring more excitement in learning for my students. I want them to build confidence in themselves and be the best they could be so they all have a bright future ahead.
My Project
I have many below level students who get frustrated and want to give up on learning. By adding some of these games into learning I feel they will build confidence, learn from their peers and build up their reading skills.
Students need to enjoy learning and want to learn in order to be successful.
I want them to have fun and play bingo and board games using reading strategies. With these games they won’t mind practicing reading because they would be so engaged in the games. I also want to add some additional resources to our small group time with boosting comprehension activities, vocabulary cards, and read and respond cards.
