Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a speech-language pathologist working with preschool-aged children. In this new world of virtual learning, my students are working very hard to stay engaged during learning activities. It can be very difficult at times due to the age range of my students, but they are definitely trying their best!

My Project

My students have been working so hard during virtual learning. I like to use colorful materials to help keep their attention while we work on language skills. I print a lot of resources from Teachers Pay Teachers. There are great materials, but my colored ink runs out very quick.

One of my students' favorite thing to do is participate in interactive book reading.

They love to tell which pieces are right and wrong. After the story, we always play another activity, so the hands-on materials will go perfectly with books I already have!
