I teach a terrific group of third graders. My students attend a Title I elementary school located in the city of La Puente, California. Approximately 90% of the students are socioeconomically disadvantage. Many of the students are English Language Learners with various academic needs. They have hard working parents who want the best for them and a better future.
Engaging, meaningful and transformational educational experiences have the power to help my students achieve in school and life.
I’m passionate and dedicated in providing my students with as many learning opportunities they need to succeed in the future. My Project
The terrific third graders in my classroom are ready to make their mark, and embark on their journey of self-discovery and expression through art. However, we need basic art materials to help them express themselves artistically.
It’s so important to foster the artistic talents in all students.
They all have a creative spirit and the art supplies from this project will help nurture their artistic skills. The oil pastels, watercolors and crayons will be used to create self-portraits, landscapes and color theory projects. In addition the supplies mentioned above, along with the construction paper and glue sticks will help bring to life the self designed projects my students create to express themselves artistically.
I can't wait to see my students tap into creative potential and make their mark artistically.
