I teach at a Title I school in a small town in a rural area of North Carolina. 66% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students are a community of learners where each person knows that they are important and that their voice is valued; together we can achieve anything!
Students eagerly enter our classroom community every day full of life, ready to share their thoughts, excited to engage with each other and ready to tackle the learning targets for the day.
My Project
Nothing is sadder than when our colorful projects have to pause. The ink cartridges will bring student projects back to life. We will be able to print students' scientific drawings and create stickers that they can share with friends and family members. There is something so exciting about seeing your own artwork on a notebook, tumbler, or friend's bag. They will also be able to print and share their research, gameboards, and projects.
I can't wait to share the colorful reading themed pencils with our second-grade students who know that I enjoy reading and sharing books more than anything.
I hope to share that joy with them! I can't wait to share the story; When Pencil Met Eraser. The positive messages will remind us all of just how important reading can be and how we can accomplish so much more together. Each of us has talents, and together we can truly shine!
The storage cart will allow us to keep our printer, ink, markers, pencils, paper, and other materials right in reach! We will never wonder where the pencils are or where we need to look to find some post-it notes.
