Our high school became a beacon of hope for our sister campus after Hurricane Harvey. After the flood devastated their campus, we adjusted our schedule and welcomed them as part of our family. We remained on an adjusted reduced schedule this year due to student success.
Our students are innovative individuals always seeking new ways to express their creativity through Project Based Learning and Makerspace activities.
Hundreds of our students flock to our library on a daily basis, we would love to provide them the outlet to be creative.
My Project
Our goal is to provide our students with the opportunity to make and innovate! We've carefully selected tools that we hope would strike creativity and wonderment! Our library is geographically in the center of our wonderful community and we hope to make our space (no pun intended) a hub of collaboration and discovery! Help make our dream a reality! With a successfully funded project, we will be providing our students an interactive Lego Wall, Keva Building Blocks, 3-D Pens, Snap Circuits, and an Arduino. These tools and manipulatives will make our library a lively place to construct, collaborate, and discover!
