Creative, energetic, inquisitive, hardworking--these are just a few words to describe my fourth grade students! My students come from a range of different backgrounds, but they all have one thing in common; they are so hungry to learn!
In our classroom, we learn together, grow together, and succeed together.
Every student counts and every moment matters. We cheer each other on and press forward to reach our goal of being the best we can be!
I have learned that each student is different from the next and has his or her own individual needs. My desire is to give them exactly what they need to help them be successful in the future, because after all, they are our future!
My Project
In our classroom, we strive to be creative. I challenge the students to be creative with their work, as well as myself to be creative with my lessons! The Barrina UV LED Blacklight Bar will help me make learning fun! We will have “Blackout Days” where the students will do challenges on neon paper around the room that glows in the black lights. I will do anything that I can do to make learning more memorable for my students!
Students should be given lots of opportunities to challenge their minds to be creative!
The LEGO Classic Brick Set would allow my students to build and create their own STEM projects. My class is composed of gifted and high achieving students. I am constantly trying to find outlets for their creativity. LEGOS would allow my students to have fun while being creative!
Another opportunity I would like to give my students is time to go on virtual field trips and interact with other classrooms in other locations. The Logitech HD Webcam would help us do just that!
I also would like to allow my students to research and listen to lessons online. The Belkin RockStar 5-Jack Multi Headphone Audio Splitters for iPads would allow my students to work in groups and hear lesson videos. The Hercules Tuff Charging Station would help our iPads to stay charged and readily available!
The Canon Selphy Photo Printer would help students create projects through their own lens by being able to quickly and easily print photos. Being able to display their own picture beside their work would bring a whole new level of personality to our classroom! With the Canon Selphy Photo Printer the students would have another creative tool at their fingertips.
