Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach 2nd grade at a Title I project-based learning school in Redwood City. Students learn to be more independent academically and social emotionally. They collaborate with each other through project-based learning and hands-on activities.

My 2nd grade students are loving, energetic, and full of potential.

They are a part of a thriving classroom community. I enjoy seeing students learn through playing games and interacting with others. The look on their faces when they have learned something new is incredibly rewarding. My students love reading, math, and project-based learning. I would love the opportunity to provide the resources and activities for my students so they can continue building these skills.

My Project

My students are always excited to learn and come to school. They have so much potential and many different interests. These reading and math activities will engage my students. Currently, my students are working on Daily 5 and Math Daily 3. These programs include stations where students work independently on reading, writing, and math.

Students learn through fun, engaging activities.

These resources will provide more interesting activities for my students to work on continuing to build their reading, writing, and math skills. My students will be able to work on these independently. This will add on to the resources we already have.
