My Students

Approximately 75% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-priced lunch. Many are low-income, poverty, homeless, and we have a high number of military families. There is an amazing group of hard-working young adults in my class. They strive every day to do their best and succeed. Their goals and dreams are to achieve a high school diploma and go to college.

These students take any obstacle in their path head-on and don't let it slow them down.

These students overcome so many different setbacks during their time in school.

My Project

My students are an amazing and hardworking group of future leaders, who strive to learn something new each day. I love to see how they work together to make sure that each student reaches their fullest potential. All my students come from diverse backgrounds such as poverty, low income, and military families, yet when you see them working together, there is no diversity. My students love to keep out school news station and newspaper up and running by making it the best possible source of school news for our students. Some of my students love the print side of journalism and the other love the broadcasting journalism side. I am requesting a Seiki 70" Class 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV for my broadcasting journalism student to use to make their set the most up to date as possible. This TV will give them the ability to have an interactive screen when they are recording and presenting our school news. These students are the future journalist and I want to make sure they have the ability to use resources so that they have the pride and professionalism they deserve for their amazing work. Thank you for considering to support our journalism students.
