Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are eager learners who love to explore and discover their environment, find new ways to play, and enjoy learning with each other.
Each of my students learn something new each day, and we celebrate each and every success in our classroom.
We focus on growing not only in academics, but in play, social skills, communication, and every other developmental milestone along the way! I love that my students come to school with a smile on their face ready to tackle each and every day!
My Project
These dividers will allow myself and the staff that work in my room to further break down our room into smaller, quieter spaces. Our room can be quite busy at times, which can be distracting for some students. These dividers will allow our students to be successful with the task at hand and require less redirection, resulting in more independence.
The activities I have chosen will reinforce skills that have been targeted in whole group and individualized instructional sessions.
Not only are the activities fun and enticing for the students to participate in, but it allows them to further generalize their skills to new activities and promotes independence.
