Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a Kindergarten teacher. My school is considered to be in a low economical community. I teach English Language Learners. The year is about to start and I would like to make it an amazing year for my students. My students need to learn the basics in kinder such as letters, sounds, high-frequency words, numbers amongst much, much more.
My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative students eager to learn.
They need to develop their fine motor skills as well as memory recognition skills. The class loves hands-on activities and learning games that engage them in discovery and exploration as they learn.
My Project
My students are curious enthusiastic learners that enjoy learning through fun activities. I am asking for math puzzles, science puzzles and language art puzzles to incorporate into my learning centers. During Math time students who are done with their work will be allowed to go work on math center. During Academy I will utilize my T.A. to run the language art puzzles. The Science puzzles and activity book will be a wonderful contribution to my STEAM center.
With these materials my students will be able to practice their fine motor and kinesthetic skills.
This activities will allow my students to collaborate with each other.
