My students need basic supplies for writing such as file folders, highlighters, sticky notes and more are essential for starting our new class year with everything we will need for engaged learning!
My classroom is home to 88 students with a wide range of abilities including special education, second language learners, learning disabled, mainstream learners and higher level thinkers. We are a Title I school with students from a diverse backgrounds, and a high population of low socioeconomic households.
I want my classroom to be a second home to each of my kiddos!
Often students do not have the supplies needed for daily activities, so I want to provide the essentials.
It is important to meet all of my students' needs, know each student and provide a learning experience that matters! Students learn reading, writing, grammar and Texas history in my classroom.
My Project
My students learn writing, grammar, and how to identify mistakes in passages in my classroom. I'd love to start the new school year with a working pencil sharpener since ours is broken and have reliable pencils for my students to write with.
Classroom essentials like colored highlighters and pens, hanging files and file folders for portfolios, and sticky notes for constructive feedback make learning about writing engaging and exciting!
Students will use these every day items to make interactive notebooks that can be used throughout the school year, as well as writing response activities and anchor chart resources. Every year I buy many office supplies, such as sticky notes and file folders, that we can use for our foldables and our interactive learning. Pencils, highlighters, file folders, pens, and sticky notes will be a great supply for my students' hands on learning.
