This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are a diverse group of learners from all types of backgrounds. They deserve an opportunity to learn in a school setting just like any other student. The students in my class attend our Title I school at varying academic levels. These students deserve the very best education they can get and I believe it is my goal as their teacher to help them achieve any academic goal they wish to reach whether it be through reading, math or science.

My Project

These resources will be used to enhance the learning of math and science by providing my students with materials that would be useful in the classroom and are not readily available. A lot of money is spent out of my own pocket to supply my student with the supplies they need to make it through the school year.

My students deserve the best learning environment they can and the use of school supplies not readily available or cannot be purchased due to low incomes in many of the families is often overlooked.

It is often times hard to supply a classroom on a low budget.
