This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

VA is a charter school with limited enrollment making our classes small in size. The small groups enables the students to all be friends. They are eager to learn and enjoy working together. Versa-Tiles would allow these students an opportunity to learn math in a different and challenging way. My students come from different backgrounds and their level of education, coming to third grade varies a lot. Versa-Tiles would enable individual learning and growth. One of the best rewards as a teacher is seeing my students faces light up when they have an "aha" moment and gain self confidence in their ability.

My Project

I am requesting funding for the Versa Tiles learning tool. My students would benefit by having a fun way to work math concepts versus just doing more worksheets. When learning is fun, everyone enjoys the work. Math concepts learned at this level are something they will use throughout their educational careers and the rest of their lives. Future educational success and confidence builds a better future for our children.

Your donation would give my students an opportunity to work at their own individual pace and level.

They could continually improve their understanding of math concepts and having fun while learning math.
