My students need math games, math manipulatives including math quiz cards, build a number houses, puzzle and a comfortable place to sit during math centers. I have ordered 4 flex space comfy floor seats to help when students are doing floor work.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are curious and excited to learn! Each student has his/her own unique talent. They enjoy collaborating on assignments and working together on group projects. My students are becoming independent thinkers. Whenever I call students over for a small group lesson they smile with joy. I encourage each student to ask questions and solve problems. Using concrete materials provided in the classroom, my children are able to understand math, science and language easier. They love to write stories and play math games!
My Project
My students love games. For this reason I am asking for math games to add to my daily centers. The number line and addition puzzles will help students with their operations. The ten frame wipeboards will help students decompose numbers more easily. Students will be especially excited about the counting money puzzles and magnetic money.
I have also requested 4 flex seating comfy chairs so students can work more easily and comfortably on the floor during math centers.
I am trying to create an environment that encourages students to practice math concepts and skills. Hopefully these new materials will foster a love of math in each and every student!
