My Students

My students are innovative, creative, and imaginative thinkers. They thrive on knowledge and continually want to know MORE. These students are certified as gifted and talented - and they love the time they receive as part of this pull-out program.

I strive to make our learning environment innovative, flexible, and fun.

I want my students to feel comfortable working, researching, and collaborating in my trailer classroom. My students have tremendous potential and I want them to feel inspired to do their absolute best work while in this classroom.

I am hopeful to inspire my clever students to always try their best, think outside of the box, and wow the world with their knowledge.

My Project

These materials will help my creative thinkers master math concepts such as fractions and geometry, in a fun and exciting way. Sometimes all it takes is looking at a concept from a different angle to better understand.

My students love to use their hands and explore.

Magnatiles are perfect for teaching math concepts that allow students to make sense of problems visually. These tiles can be used to create both two-dimensional and three-dimensional shapes and make math come alive.

I know students will be more engaged in class if they have something to physically touch and build to show understanding. These tiles will help students build not only visual spatial skills, but build confidence in the math classroom.
