My students are loving and energetic! My kiddos are hands-on learners. They work hard and desire to learn; they are very special! They all come from different backgrounds, and I love experiencing how a classroom can unite a group of kids.
I love how my students come to school everyday with a smile on their face, even though outside of my classroom, they encounter hardship.
I strive to create a positive learning environment for all my students. My aim is to make my students feel safe and at home in my classroom.
My Project
My students enjoy learning new math concepts everyday and enjoy using math manipulatives! For the students that do not show as much enthusiasm for math, I want to engage them through these new manipulatives!
Math manipulatives can increase a student's understanding of an abstract math concept by using real items the students can relate to.
All these items are going to make a wonderful addition to my classroom! The clocks will be used to teach students time. The classroom set of white boards will be incorporated in all math lessons; they will love these! The counters will assist with number sense in whole group and small group centers. And the journals will be used to create math and reading stories.
