My Students

Our school is full of eager, excited young learners ready to take on any challenge they meet! Our student body is one of the most diverse in our district, and we couldn't be more proud of that fact!

We want to do everything in our power to help our learners stay engaged, focused, and successful.

Our school is making the move toward digital literacy across all subjects and grade levels. We have been able to fund some projects to bring useful technology to our school, but we still have quite a bit of work to do. We want our school to be at the forefront of digital learning!

My Project

Our students LOVE using technology in school. Take any lesson, find a way to connect it to digital technology, and student engagement increases tenfold. There are an incredible amount of unique learning styles and modalities, and a proper use of technology can serve to address nearly all types. One resource that we find to be particularly engaging and student-centered is the digital interactive whiteboard. I'm requesting an IPEVO Portable Interactive Whiteboard System for my classroom.

Interactive whiteboards open the door for increased student engagement, real-world connections, and lifelong learning.

There is no better feeling than seeing a student make connections in learning that he or she has never made before. I believe that with the use of this interactive whiteboard, my students' learning will be positively and dramatically affected.
