This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal is to have more hands-on teaching tools and to try to implement a thinking classroom which encourages students to think through problems and discover their own solutions. I want students to enjoy solving math problems, to be able to visualize outcomes and improve their overall critical thinking skills. Included in my request are hands-on tools to help students learn how to solve equations and graphing white boards to help students practice linear equations. I have also requested books that will help me implement more learning projects for students as well as help me become a better math teacher.
